This customer was dealing with sandy soil, which meant a lack of nutrients for healthy grass growth. We tilled the existing sod, spread 80 yards of rich topsoil, and grade spread the topsoil. Then we brought in a Harley rake for a consistently smooth surface before hydroseeding. This hydroseed mixture consisted of mulch, fertilizer, seed, and a tackifier — producing a fresh lawn for a fraction of the price of sod.
